I would like to take to tech out of printing the decks. The main emphasis is to Switch Off and get back to the basics with being creative. AND while you are tapped into your creative mind - you are getting to know your decks and attuning them to you!
Everything is an Oracle! Books, music, videos, billboards....
So, this page is about things I have stumbled upon with printing. If you come across something that can be useful, please feel free to reach out and let me know!
Have fun creating!!!
I can't even cut a straight line, even with a paper cutter. This card had a little slant going so I tried to fix it, but just made it worse. Who cares!
Don't worry if some of the cuts don't match!
We're all perfectly imperfect in our own ways! That's what makes us special!
This was printed using the Photo Matte Finish paper 110 weight.
Sidenote: This card is the song title, "Separate Ways" by Journey. Practice with this card, does the title give you any sort of message? What about the picture? Band name, Journey? Look up the album cover or even watch the video. https://youtu.be/LatorN4P9aA?feature=shared
The Universe is always speaking to us! It's the great Journey of life!
You don't have to print the decks with card stock paper. Use regular paper!
If you have no place to store them, use a Woo Woo Bowl.
I learned about the Womb Bowl from Abiola Abrams', "Activate Your Divine Goddess" course. She explained what a Womb Bowl was and how it was used by her ancestors.
How it works is you write out 28 things you desire to manifest from the Universe. You place them in the Womb Bowl and everyday pull one out while asking, "What am I calling in from the Universe today?" When you manifest any of them, you simply take that one out and replace it with another.
I just switched it around a bit, and thought how perfect a bowl would be for a favorite deck.... and instead of Womb Bowl, why not call it the Woo Woo Bowl! Give both a try!
There really is not that much of a difference between the print settings of the default 'Fit to Printable Size' and choosing the '100 %'.
The card on the left was printed with the default setting of 'Fit to Printable Area'. The card on the right is the '100%'.
This is the 8-card to a page printable deck option. There is a quarter shown for comparison. I have printed all of the timeless classic book decks this way.
When you pull your card for the day, this size is perfect for taking along without you so you can refer to it throughout your day.
They're great resets when you need a break in your day. The size is perfect for keeping it with your phone, in your wallet, or back pocket.
